There may be one little bit of excellent news, however. In response to industry reviews like this one, another rule that was about to go into impact in December - a rule which would require truckers to provided mandated training to entry stage drivers - will possible be delayed for 2 years. Of course, more and higher training - notably for new drivers - looks like a pretty darn good idea. But sadly the states and federal people nonetheless need extra time to get themselves aligned. I’m positive many trucking company executives welcome the breather. You'd assume that working a Trucking adventures firm in 2020 would be a worthwhile affair, given a strong surroundings for client gross sales and online shopping. But shippers - significantly smaller shippers - continue to face driver shortages, important competition, commerce uncertainty, manufacturing declines and authorities regulations that current many challenges.
