Occipital lobes: These lobes in the again of your brain allow you to note and interpret visual data. Limbic lobes: The limbic lobe sits deep in the center parts of your brain. That is the largest lobe and it controls voluntary movement, speech and intellect. The uppermost part of the brainstem is the midbrain, which controls some reflex actions and is part of the circuit concerned within the management of eye movements and other voluntary movements. Frontal lobes: The frontal lobes are in the entrance part of your brain, proper behind your forehead. The cerebrum is divided into two halves: the correct and left hemispheres (Fig. 2) They're joined by a bundle of fibers referred to as the corpus callosum that transmits messages from one side to the opposite. Each side of your brain has totally different lobes (sections). The parts of your frontal lobes that control movement are referred to as the primary motor cortex or precentral gyrus.
